Colorado Serenade (1946)
by Hans J. Wollstein review

Colorado Serenade seems to have been lowly PRC's belated version of Stagecoach. Once again a stage is carrying an assortment of travelers that include a brazen saloon girl (Abigail Adams), who is quickly ostracized by the townspeople, and a rather ambiguous young drifter (David Sharpe). There is even a character named Ringo, although unlike John Wayne's original, this Ringo, as played by Bob Duncan, remains a blackguard for the duration. Once in Rawhide, however, Colorado Serenade turns all action that leaves little for Eddie Dean and sidekick Roscoe Ates to do other than perform a sing-along or two. Future Grade-Z western star Johnny Carpenter has an unbilled bit as one of Warner Richmond's henchmen.
