Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Color of the Cross director Jean Claude LaMarre returns to explore the teachings of Jesus Christ with this film focusing on the resurrection and the ministry of Christ following his earthly demise. Immediately after Christ is crucified, his followers go into hiding for fear that the same grim fate may befall them as well. Three days after Christ's death, his followers have lost hope that he will return to them as promised. When Mary Magdalene and a group of Christian women visit Christ's tomb in order to rub spices on his body and pray, they are shocked to discover that his body is missing. Terrified, the mourners flee from the tomb only to be confronted by two angels. The angels declare that Christ has risen, and the bewildered women proceed to spread the word to all of his faithful disciples.
