Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
An unexpected Thanksgiving reunion brings out the worst in a dysfunctional California family in this darkly comic drama from writer/director Will Slocombe (Crime Fiction). As Poppy (Peter Bogdanovich), his two youngest children (Ashton Holmes and Sonya Walger), and his wife Deborah (Cheryl Hines) prepare to settle in for the holiday, their typical routine is interrupted by the unexpected appearance of black-sheep daughter Nina (Alicia Witt). Returning home for the first time in 15 years, it soon becomes apparent that surly Nina is determined to charm her way into Poppy's wallet. Little does Nina realize that her siblings have the same intentions, but unfortunately for everyone Poppy is about to reveal a secret that none of them saw coming.
