synopsis
The Danish comedy team of Pat and Patachon were top-billed in this loosely assembled British comedian. The Mutt-and-Jeff duo play a pair of stowaways on an ocean liner, which is being used as the headquarters of a dope-smuggling ring. Giles (Nigel Barrie), the head crook, is trying to ward off suspicion by framing hero Jerry (Tony Wylde) on smuggling charges; Giles also hopes to claim Jerry's sweetheart Betty (Enid Stamp-Taylor) for himself. With Pat and Patachon involved, however, the villain hasn't a chance. Director Monty Banks stages the action with efficiency and humor, in the tradition of his own starring vehicles.
