synopsis
Another exploitationer in the tradition of Traffic in Souls, the independently produced Cocaine Traffic was subtitled The Drug Terror. This, presumably, was for the benefit of those ingenuous souls in the audience who didn't know what cocaine was. A young junkie marries the daughter of the local dope king. It isn't long before the husband turns his wife into a cocaine addict herself, whereupon she is rescued by her none-too-savory father. Meanwhile, the husband goes cold turkey so that he can rescue his sister from a white slavery ring. In the closing scene, the dope king gets his just desserts at the hands of the now-unaddicated hero. Apparently, the only vice left unexplored in this film is nail-biting.
