synopsis
This jazz performance film finds the Louie Bellson Big Band accompanying a percussive "conversation" between two virtuoso drummers: Bellson and Billy Cobham. The Big Band plays a series of melodic improvisations, while the percussionists demonstrate a series of drum tones including the fortissimo and the whispering.
