Filmed on location in British Columbia, Closin' In starred William Desmond as stalwart Canadian Mountie Jack Brandon. A former bank teller, Brandon is determined to arrest an elusive embezzler, thereby exonerating the fugitive father of Brandon's sweetheart Barbara Carleton (Maud Wayne). Unfortunately, Barbara misunderstands Brandon's motives and thinks the very worst of him. She changes her mind in a hurry when our hero rescues her from lecherous French-Canadian trapper Jules la Roche (Louis Durham). Many of the film's best moments belonged to the uncredited actress who was cast as the villain's long-suffering "squaw."
