synopsis
A sleeper film, this is a welcome change from the violent black movies of the seventies. Essentially just a love story, it is the tale of a poor woman with six children she's trying to raise by herself and a garbage collector who isn't entirely sure he wants to take on the responsibilities of a family this size. Classic romance in the black community with an upbeat feel to it.
