Synopsis by Leslie Birdwell
This musical comedy review began life off-Broadway, another brainchild of National Lampoon, the same folks who brought audiences Animal House. The video satirizes the me-generation of yuppies, American politics of the 1980s, and other social foibles through the eyes of two hippies. The Rip Van Winkle-like pair, have been in a drug-induced coma since the end of the '60s. Now they find themselves in a social milieu completely unlike what they left behind. The cast includes Rodger Bumpass, who has done voice work in The Iron Giant, The Emperor's New Groove, and Toy Story 2.
