Synopsis by Michael Hastings

Video-diarist Michel Auder chronicles the last days of one of his close New York friends - at his request - in this personal video record. Broadway producer Van Wolff, fully aware of Factory staple Auder's experiments with the then-incipient video format, asked the artist to tape him for two days, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 1971. During that time, Wolff has his last chemotherapy treatment and is released from the hospital to be with family and friends - including Charles Mingus and Jack Nicholson -- until his death.
