Synopsis by Michael Hastings
The Boston rock act Fooled by April gets under the magnifying lens in Brendan Clarke's intimate documentary. Clarke follows the band in the days before its "big break" -- a live berth at the prestigious South by Southwest festival. Along the way, the band members express their hopes and fears about trudging on in possible oblivion.
