Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
In this 2003 performance from The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra, the singers are joined by American mazz-soprano Frederica von Stade and Welsh baritone Bryn Terfel in capturing the spirit of the holidays with a variety of traditional classics and some new surprises. In addition to featuring such well-loved classics as "Oh Some, All Ye Faithful" and "The First Nowell", the performance also takes an international turn to offer holidays songs from around the globe including &Betelehemu" from Nigeria and the popular Welsh carol "Tua Bethlehem dref".
