Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this comedy, Arun is a shy young Indian man, who takes the same bus to work each morning with the lovely Prabha. After many abortive attempts to make her acquaintance, he finally succeeds, only to have her attentions drawn from him to the flamboyant and confident motor-scooter driver, Nagesh. Arun tries many methods of determining what he should do, beginning with fortune-tellers and astrologers. Finally, he enrolls under the tutelage of the love doctor, Colonel J.N.W. Singe, who instructs him in how to use positive thinking and artful one-upmanship to win back the attention of Prabha. Nagesh, now thoroughly deflated, seeks some answers himself, and the sage teachings of the Colonel finally come to his attention.
