Directed by Aydin Sayman and Ümit Cin Güven, Children of Secret focuses one of the most serious problems facing modern Turkey -- homeless "street children." Shot throughout Istanbul, the film consists of several subplots with a common theme: Despite their tragic lives and penchant for sniffing paint solvent, most of the children mysteriously maintain their innocence. The film features Firat Tanis, and was shown at the 2003 Istanbul International Film Festival.
