synopsis
When Rex Sox relief pitcher Rick Walker (Christopher McDonald) goes into a lengthy slump, big-hearted Sam (Ted Danson) lends Rick his special good-luck charm, an old bottle cap. The result: Rick's ballpark performance improves dramatically, while Sam experiences a spectacular streak of rotten luck. Could this reversal of fortune knock the ex-alcoholic Sam off the wagon or will Diane (Shelley Long) be able to come to the rescue in the nick o' time?
