Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A sales assistant on the cusp of 30 attempts to take her future into her own hands after being dumped by her boyfriend, reconnecting with an old flame, and seeing her estranged father for the first time in years. 28 year old Lizzie Baxter (Julia Markowski) thinks she's got it all figured out. Sure her sales job at a Centre Place fashion boutique isn't exactly a career, but Lizzie's certain that her boyfriend Simon is about to propose, and that the couple will soon be living happily ever after in Paris. The next thing Lizzie knows, she's newly single and her apartment is on fire. It seems like Lizzie just can't get a break. Then, just as Lizzie is starting to take stock of her shattered life, she runs into James (Sullivan Stapleton), a former boyfriend who has just opened up a small café near her work. Not only is James handsome, but he seems to still have feelings for Lizzie as well. Later, when Lizzie's absentee father shows up with an ominous medical diagnosis, the frivolous girl realizes that the time has finally come to take stock of her messy life.
