Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This mediocre romantic comedy was based on a story by author Fred Jackson. Newspaper editor Pennington Wright (Leslie Austin) meets pretty Priscilla Kane (Peggy Hyland) at a tailor's shop and assumes she works there. Priscilla is actually the daughter of the owner of a meat packing company (George Bunny) that Wright has just called a food profiteer. Priscilla, blithely unaware of this, allows Wright to believe what he wants about her and they develop a romance, much to the annoyance of Wright's wannabe fiancée. Meanwhile, Kane is determined to stop Wright from lambasting him in the press and hires a detective to catch him with a woman, thus creating a scandal. That night, Wright falls ill and begs Priscilla to come over and nurse him. When the detectives descend on them, the couple escapes through the window and head for the nearest minister. Character actor Walter McEwen is especially humorous as Willis, Wright's quirky valet.
