The second of 16 Thelma Todd-ZaSu Pitts comedy shorts for producer Hal Roach, this two-reeler proved one of the team's very best. Homesick in the big city, ZaSu falls in love with a prizefighter (Guinn "Big Boy" Williams) from her home town of Joplin, MO. He feels certain that he can win his final match if only she appears in the audience wearing a certain lucky hat. Arriving with girlfriend Thelma (who's dating Williams' fight manager Reed Howes), ZaSu promptly looses her hat in the crowd and pandemonium ensues.
