synopsis
This is one of three simultaneously released made-for-TV movies luridly chronicling the sordid affair between teenager Amy Fisher and much older auto mechanic Joey Buttafuoco that resulted in Fisher shooting Buttafuoco's wife in the head. This CBS version, told from the Buttafuocos' viewpoint, places much of the blame on the media. Mind you, the network paid the Buttafuoco's a tidy sum for their story. Jack Scalia and Alyssa Milano play the notorious alleged lovers. Amy Fisher-philes may want to check out the other two films: The Amy Fisher Story and Lethal Lolita-Amy Fisher: My Story.
