The story is the same (a gorgeous gypsy struggles with her feelings for the latest man in her life), but this particular rendition features Maria Ewing, Jaques Trussel, Miriam Gauci, and Alain Fondart. Originally filmed in 1999, this opera took place at London's acclaimed Earls Court theater.
