Synopsis by Mark Deming
In this suspense thriller, Rachel (Natasha Henstridge) is a young woman who works in a museum by day and indulges her passion for birds in her spare time. She finds herself drawn into a new world of danger when she falls in love with a handsome man (Jonathan Schaech) who is involved in a plot to assassinate South African president Nelson Mandela. She's able to foil the murderer's plans, but the would-be killer manages to escape, assume a new identity, and work out a new plan to kill her along with Mandela. Rachel must now uncover her old lover's new identity and lead him to the police before it's too late for herself and the others on his hit list. Lauren Hutton and David McIlwraith co-star.
