Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The already successful screen career of ingenue June Caprice picked up even more momentum when direction of her Fox vehicles was taken over by her future husband Harry Millarde. In The Camouflage Kiss, Caprice plays Martha, the sister-in-law of a timid store clerk. Worshipping the girl from afar, the clerk asks his married boss, a proponent of the "caveman" school of lovemaking, to help him out. The boss proceeds to turn off all the lights in the store, then plants a big, wet kiss on Martha's cheek. When the lights go on again, Martha is persuaded to believe that the wimpish clerk was the "phantom kisser." Instead, our heroine gets it into her empty head that her married sister is having an affair with the boss. The overall hilarity of Camouflage Kiss was enhanced by the witty subtitles of Ralph Spence.
