Seismologist Kimberly Stevenson (Janet Gunn) has been commissioned to study the activity going on at the epicenter of a recent series of earthquakes. Setting up an isolated research cabin with her son, deep in the Los Angeles National Forest, Kimberly is 200 miles from civilization-and from help. When she stumbles upon a testing ground for black market nuclear weapons, it becomes a race against time as she flees for her own life-in the hopes of saving everyone else's.
