synopsis
After a long, very successful run on Broadway, the filmmakers decided to record James Whitmore's avuncular depiction of the older Teddy Roosevelt at the Ahmanson Theater. In the play, Roosevelt, America's 26th President, reminisces about his exciting life and conveys his almost overpowering love of just about anything which can be done vigorously, from politics to soldiering.
