Schlockmeister Jerry Warren made a career out of buying the rights to South American movies, recutting them, adding in some (usually badly done) new footage and releasing it as a brand-new movie. This is one of them. This film, a Mexican version of the Billy the Kid legend, starred Mexican actor Gaston Sands. American actors Steve Brodie and Lloyd Nelson did not star in the original version; they were hired by Warren for the new footage he shot.
