synopsis
Brain Damage is another horror comedy from the man who brought you Basket Case. Rick Herbst plays a young New Yorker whose will is taken over by a malevolent, disembodied brain. In exchange for an unlimited supply of drugs, Herbst helps the brain seek out nourishment (that is, it sucks out the gray matter of other victims). Halfway through, the film turns into a "pub crawl" of New York's underground night spots. Just when you think it's time to relax and laugh the whole thing off as a big put-on......well, you'll have to see this one to believe it.
