Inspired by actual events, director Lakisha Lemons' independent thriller Border Break tells the story of young American Janet Taylor, who took a Spring Break trip to Cancun, Mexico in 2010, and vanished without a trace. Despite her mother's insistence that Janet is still alive, an ominous lack of evidence leads investigators to fear the worst in their frantic search for clues.
