synopsis
The documentary release Bon Scott: The Years Before AC/DC profiles the ascent to stardom of Scottish rocker Bon Scott, the first frontman for legendary rock group AC/DC, who literally drank himself to death in 1980 and was replaced in the group by Brian Johnson. The program covers Scott's childhood in Scotland and his involvement in such bands as the Spektors, the Valentines, and Fraternity, as well as his tragic and much-publicized motorcycle accident.
