Phillips demonstrates the essential technical tools used in bluegrass fiddling, such as slurs, slides, double stops, and special bowing patterns, as well as traditional violin solos and the building blocks behind the styles of such fiddling greats as Benny Martin, Chubby Wise, and Kenny Baker.
