synopsis
Blood Shack is the reissue title of the 1971 Ray Dennis Steckler masterwork The Chooper (that looks like a misprint, but it's been confirmed by two reliable sources). Steckler "regular" Carolyn Brandt plays an actress who inherits a remote South Dakota ranch. If she knows what's good for her, She will never venture anywhere near the haunted shack on her property. No, wait, Carolyn. Look out! AYEEEE!! Originally running 60 minutes, Blood Shack was padded out with an additional ten minutes at the insistence of the distributor. Devotees of Ray Dennis Steckler prefer the shorter "director's cut," which also boasts an entirely different musical score.
