A safe refuge becomes a house of horrors when the survivors of an airplane crash encounter an evil that is not of this world. They were flying over the Sierra Mountains when their plane was caught in a torrential show storm. Now safely on the ground, but with no rescue in sight, the seven survivors seek shelter in an abandoned ranger's cabin miles from civilization. And they're not alone, because somewhere in this scenic wilderness dwells an extraterrestrial race of creatures with barbed wire tongues and razor sharp teeth. Desperate to stay alive after their harrowing ordeal, the few remaining survivors band together to defeat the flesh-eating extraterrestrials and find a way back to civilization.
