synopsis
Young African American Emma Mae (Jerri Hayes) journeys to the L.A. ghetto from her Southern country home. Once there, this tough young lady does whatever it takes to survive, and eventually she thrives. Full of humor and drama, in this film Emma Mae even tries her hand at bank robbery.
