Synopsis by Hal Erickson

One suspects that the public's ongoing fascination with Britain's royal family was only temporarily satiated by this made-for-cable "tell all" documentary. Urged on by the late Princess Diana's former private secretary Patrick Jephson (who'd already written a book on the subject), other servants in the employ of Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle dished the dirt about Di and her ex-husband, Prince Charles. Among the more startling revelations was the manner in which little Prince William was allegedly exploited by daddy Charles, who used his son as "leverage" with journalists to keep his own name unsullied in the press. Critics were appalled by the seamier aspects of the documentary, but they watched all the same. Working for Charles & Diana aired on A&E as a special entry in the cable service's Biography series.
