synopsis
This second entry in PRC's "Billy the Kid" series stars Bob Steele in the title role. Historical fact is toyed with a bit by having Billy become sheriff of a Texas town. No sooner has he fastened his star to his vest than a gang of outlaws come over the horizon. Things get sticky when Billy discovers that one of the bad guys is his own brother. The "Peter Stewart" credited as director of Billy the Kid in Texas was actually PRC workhorse Sam Newfield.
