Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Joseph Cheung Tung-cho spins this gritty exploitation flick about the rough life of a Hong Kong club girl. After her father gets hauled off by the cops and her mother is hospitalized by a potentially lethal heart problem, Mandy (Sharla Cheung) becomes a hostess girl in a sleaze triad-run establishment to help pay for her mother's hospital bills and her younger sister's education. Mandy learns the tricks of the trade from her jaded colleague Hung (Cherie Chung) whose frequent alcoholic benders regularly land her in the hospital. The two quickly become fast friends, protecting each other from both sleazy patrons and catty co-workers. When she loses all her money in the stock market crash of 1988, Hung tries to commit suicide, only to be saved by Mandy. Mandy agrees to help her friend with her debts by sleeping with the evil crimelord Tong Pun (Paul Chun). Later, Mandy's father -- a gangland operator who went to jail for Tong -- learns of what happened, and he strikes out for bloody vengeance.
