Synopsis
A medical melodrama that was ABC's brooding answer to NBC's Dr. Jim Kildare in the 1960s. Ruggedly handsome, passionately dedicated and not infrequently gloomy, Casey was a brilliant neurosurgeon who battled disease and the establishment at bustling County General Hospital. The series' five-year run coincided almost exactly with that of Kildare's.
