Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Colonel Gwynne (Joseph Swickard) gets in trouble for a deed done by Allan Barrett (George Chesbro). But the Colonel's daughter, Muriel (Louella Maxam) has a fiancée, Noel Clavering, who takes the blame to help out the old man. Clavering leaves for the West, where he stays until the Colonel's name has been cleared, but when he gets back, he finds Muriel married to Barrett. Barrett, though, has tired of his wife and is carrying on a flirtation with the vivacious Valerie (Belle Bennett). To keep Barrett honorable -- at least in his marriage -- Clavering flirts with Valerie himself and wins her away from the wayward husband. So he returns home, while Clavering and Valerie fall in love.
