Quinn Cummings, who scored a hit as Marsha Mason's daughter in the 1977 feature film The Goodbye Girl, appears in this episode as a little girl named Amy. When she experiences a vivid dream about a recent kidnapping, many people are convinced that Amy is a psychic. But undercover cop Tony Baretta (Robert Blake) suspects that the girl's nocturnal visions are somehow the result of first-hand knowledge.
