Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

In a film that teeters between a crime documentary and a fictional thriller, "Baby" (Udo Seidler) is a street-wise body-builder caught up in the world of crime and unable to find a way out. This lead role is played by an amateur actor using his own street slang, a ploy on the part of director Uwe Friessner that called for subtitles so he could be understood. Baby's goal in life is to set up his own gym, but he gets in a fight one day at the local disco and beats his way to safety with a baseball bat. While he is being grilled by the police, the attackers commandeer his car and apartment for more illegal activities, and by the time Baby catches up with them, they have implicated him enough to make him take part in a low-scale robbery. With this small start, matters escalate until Baby is in real trouble, by anyone's standards.
