This Audubon's Animal Adventures video focuses on wild, massive grizzly bears. Children will learn about how these North American animals survive in the outdoors using their speed (as fast as 30 miles per hour), gigantic stature (about 8' tall), and enormous weight (close to half a ton) to catch prey and scare away their only enemy: humans. Because of their value as game, their numbers on the continent have been declining rapidly over the years. Kids will learn to respect these mighty brown bears as they learn about how they live and survive their human predators.
