Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Actor/director William Haddock, who was still trodding the boards as late as the 1960s, called the shots on 1916's As a Woman Sows. The woman in the case, played by Gertrude Robinson, is suspected of infidelity by her husband (Alexander Gaden). He denounces her in public, causing no end of anguish for herself and their child. The husband learns the error of his ways when his faithful wife nurses him through a particularly nasty bout with scarlet fever. Though no work of art, As a Woman Sows was an acceptable time-passer.
