synopsis
Running a whole 15 minutes, Edison's Arms and the Woman was adapted from a considerably longer story by Rex Beach. Having lost his family fortune at the gambling table, a young man desperately seeks out a quick source of revenue. He falls in with a scurrilous bandit, who inveigles the lad into joining him in a robbery scheme. Things take a sorry turn when the boy is compelled to steal from his own father. As indicated by the film's title, the dilemma is solved by the heroine of the piece.
