Animal Attraction is an hour-long comedic documentary by director Kathy High exploring the relationships between humans and their pets. She takes a personal approach to the subject matter, beginning with her own relationship with her cat Ernie. Encouraged to seek out the help of animal communicator Dawn Hayman, High manages to get Ernie some obedience training. She also travels to a New York animal sanctuary with dogs, cats, horses, goats, and llamas. Animal Attraction was screened at the 2003 San Francisco Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
