synopsis
While Judge Hardy (Lewis Stone) convinces friends to invest in the bauxite mine proposed by Hansen (Byron Foulger) and Willis (Stanley Andrews), newcomers to Carvel, Judge Hardy's son Andy (Mickey Rooney) is upset that his girlfriend Polly Benedict (Ann Rutherford) has fallen for handsome Ensign Charles Copley (Robert Kent). Then Andy meets Rose Meredith (Helen Gilbert), the high school's new drama teacher, and he develops a terrific springtime crush on her himself.
