synopsis
This romantic film was originally released in 1940 and is filmed in Yiddish. Nat Silver has finally worked his way from sweat shop owner to manufacturing giant. But poor Nat cannot find a wife. He has eight fiances, but has found no suitable matches. The last, a gold digger, was the final straw. Nat decides that if he cannot find a wife then he will help others to find matches. He changes his name to "Nat Gold" and creates a matchmaking service. In the end, Nat gets to marry one of his "clients."
