PRC's infamous shoddy production methods obscure much of the action in this rather dull Western, and none of the three heroes have much charisma. Veteran Bad Guy Charles King delivers his usual potent performance, and pretty Julie Duncan looks appropriately peeved at the goings-on. Bill "Cowboy Rambler" Boyd (no relation to Hopalong Cassidy) and Art Davis croon the title tune and "Ridin' Free," both by Johnny Lange and Lew Porter, and comedian Al St. John, better known for his Fuzzy Q. Jones character, appears in a cameo as a crooked lawyer.
