Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This uneven and plodding avant garde film is a remaking of the ancient Greek story of Alkeste. Claudia (Ingrid Olafsson) sacrifices her life over her love for two playboys fighting with some idealistic revolutionaries. She is targeted to be murdered when she reaches for a stuffed pigeon filled with explosives in this symbolic tragedy. This film marks the directorial debut for Antonis Lepeniotis.
