Synopsis by Hal Erickson
To improve the efficiency of his staff--and to discourage their chronic lateness--Mel (Vic Tayback) installs a timeclock. Alice (Linda Lavin) and the other waitresses respond by demanding to be paid overtime for their Sunday cleanup, which they previously did for free. Mel refuses, sparking a bitter labor strike in which the clock is not the only thing that may be punched out!
