This release from AMMP features Bangladeshi musician Ali Akbar Khan performing live renditions of such pieces as "Morning Joy (Rag Nat Bhairo)," "Victorious Mind (Rag Suha Sughrai)," and "Peaceful Day (Rag Brindabani Sarang)." Ali Akbar Khan: The Summer Solstice was recorded in 1981 at California's Scott Hall.
