synopsis
Barry Eldon (Ralph Bellamy) is both the owner of an airline and a pilot; he is convinced his plans for new air mail routes will succeed, and is falling in love with Renee (Tala Birell), whom he's just met. Meanwhile, nightclub owner Victor Arnold (Douglas Dumbrille), working with Barry's rival Drewen (Robert Middlemass), has paid German inventor Shutter (Edward Van Sloan) to create a working model of his airplane-destroying death ray projector. With it, they bring down some of Barry's planes, but these setbacks only increase his determination to succeed. Aviator Wiley Post appears as himself.
